Invigilator 2: Cometh, thy name hath been .. mispronounced?
What?! Sequels never do better than the original? i beg to differ! i have to say star wars has jaw dropping sequels — i mean episodes 5 and 6, the rest don’t count cause they’re prequels.
Anyway, i was called for invigilating duty yet again; but for the first time, i was assigned to usher for the speaking test. The interesting part was that nobody knew i was new to this. The fact they didn’t know my name should’ve pointed this out but….
i started out by watching the door and keeping those nosey kids outta the way — not really!
“Hey!….um…You! You and Moe switch places, he’s new here and has no idea what he’s doing. Ok? ok.”
Keep in mind that Moe is way older than me but i was honestly glad this happened though. It made my day definitely more interesting. Instead of simply watching the door, i did do some actual work. I had to call in the examinees, check their applications and what not, and then send them in when the examiners are ready. You know? Cool stuff.
Hey you examinees! Be cool.
So i got to meet all these different types of ,people or persons? Like characters in a book: A hard working student trying to get a headstart on life, a child whose mother kept trying to jump the queue, a man who faked being sick and jumped the queue — at least i think he wasn’t sick ,but i’m no doctor — , a girl who came from a village to see the world, etc.
There were mishaps, and minor incidents. But i was satisfied with the work and it turned out to be a good day.
